PET CREMATION
Individual - Our individual cremation process means your pet has his or her own space in our cremator. This guarantees that only your pets cremains are returned to you.
Group - We provide a group cremation service. This is for pet owners not wishing to have their furry friend returned to them but who are still wanting a professional and caring farewell.
PRICING
We base our prices on the weight of the animal. Below are the weights and prices to have your beloved pet returned to you in either a scatter box or our beautiful rosewood wooden urns.
We also have a range of additional urns for purchase. You can view them and the prices under our "BOXES & URNS" section. The price of each individual urn will be added onto the "Scatter Box" cremation price.

Engraving
We now have the option to have a plaque added to your wooden urn. These come on a gold plate to match the look of the brass on the urns.
The price for this is $35.00 and you can have anything you choose engraved. This can take up to 5 working days to complete, though it is usually done sooner. Please enquire with us if you would like this added.
SCATTER BOX
These are our scatter boxes that are included in the "Scatter Box" cremation pricing above. Available in two different sizes, we will supply the correct size depending on the weight of your pet. They will come stamped with your pets name. These are ideal if you want to source your own urn or scatter the remains.
ROSEWOOD BOX
These rosewood boxes are our standard urns and are included in the cremation pricing above under "Wooden". Available in small and medium, depending on the weight of your pet. This is a lovely wooden box with slight brass detailing.

WOOD & BRASS CHEST
Gorgeous wooden chest shaped urn with brass paw prints and details on the top and front. Will hold the remains of an animal up to 55kg - $120.00 (Please enquire)
WOODEN BOX WITH PHOTO
Lovely wooden box shaped urn with brass paw print details on the top and front. Also has the space on top for a photo of your beloved pet. Will hold the remains of an animal up to 40kg - $110.00
WOODEN BARREL
Gorgeous barrel shaped urn with brass detail. Will hold the remains of an animal up to 15kg - $100.00
FIVE PHOTO WOODEN CUBE
Black wooden box shaped urn with five different slots for photos of your beloved pet. Will hold the remains of an animal up to 50kg - $100.00
ROUND METAL URN WITH TEALIGHT CANDLE HOLDER
These are a gorgeous small metal urn with the space in the top for a tealight candle which you can burn in memory of your pet. Available in midnight blue (black/brass sold out). Will hold the remains of an animal up to 10kg - $120.00
CLASSIC METAL URNS
These are our "classic" shaped metal urns. Such a lovely way to display your furry friend. Available in matte black with pewter detail. Will hold the remains of an animal up to 90kg - $250.00, crackle red with brass detail. Will hold the remains of an animal up to 90kg - $250.00 or black with brass details and paw prints on the front and top. Will hold the remains of an animal up to 30kg - $150.00
BIODEGRADABLE URN
We have these lovely biodegradable urns/containers for people who want to cremate and then bury their pet. It also has a pop out tab for easy scattering if you're wanting to scatter your pets ashes in their favourite spot. Will hold the remains of an animal up to 110kg - $75.00

WHO WE ARE
We are an animal loving, family owned and operated business who strive to provide an outstanding, caring service in the time of the passing of your pets.
Daniel and Lauren are husband and wife who work hard to ensure you get the best care possible during this difficult time.
Dan is the one who cremates all of the animals and processes that side of the service, as well as collecting all of the animals direct from your home or the vet clinic you use.
Lauren is behind the scenes and does all of the computer work, processing your animals paper work and making sure all the small details are completed. She also collects animals for cremation and drops off the remains when complete.
We both had to have our family dogs put down in the past few years, so know the pain and struggle in saying goodbye to your furry friends. We were happy to have our pets cremated, but after going through the process ourselves, we decided we wanted to offer something more personal and caring so started up Forever Legends. We are extremely passionate about what we do and we hope to exceed all of your expectations.
HOW IT WORKS
Firstly we want to thank you for looking into using our service.
When the time comes, you can drop your pet off to us at our home address, or we can collect from your home/vet clinic.
From there, they are taken up to our rural property where the cremations take place. All animals are placed into their own individual space in our cremation furnace. This guarantees that the animal cremates on its own so you are getting just your pet back when we return the cremains.
We then bring them back to our home and complete the finishing touches. All pets come with a cremation certificate, sympathy card and white rose, in your choice of urn. Or we can supply a scatter box if you would like to source your own urn or scatter the remains. These will come stamped with your pets name along with the above touches.
We also offer engraving, so if you want a plaque added to a wooden urn, we will send the details away for this to be done. It can take up to 5 working days to complete (though it is usually sooner).
When everything is finished and ready, we will phone you and give you the option to collect from our home address or we can drop it off to your home or location of your choice.

SPCA New Zealand provides support to 45 SPCA Centres across the country to help protect animals who are sick, injured, lost, abused or simply abandoned.
